The Cleveland Browns hinged their season on the shoulder of RG3. In Week 1, RG3 broke a bone in his non-throwing shoulder and now he is on the IR. Josh McCown is now the starting quarterback. That's So Browns™

You can take the Rams out of St. Louis but you can't take the crappy football team out of the Rams. Also, Jeff Fisher sucks.

Congratulations Bears! You scored 14 points! Unfortunately, Jay Cutler is still your quarterback and your defense is a sieve.

Things seemed to be looking up for the Chargers and then reality hit. WR Keenan Allen tore his ACL, which could only be followed by a blown 17-point lead in the fourth quarter and an overtime loss.

QB Carson Wentz looked good, so that's something the Eagles can hang their hat on. Expectations will continue to grow until Wentz plays an actual football team.

The 49ers looked to have absolutely no chance heading into Week 1 and responded by shutting out the Rams. Not a bad debut for Chip Kelly by the Bay.

Miami was minutes away from Coach Adam Gase's first NFL victory and a signature victory. Instead, they got played by Russell Wilson and the Seahawks,

The Titans got schooled by a Vikings team that features Shaun Hill at QB and Adrian Peterson at RB, who managed a massive 31 yards on 19 carries. That's a delicious 1.6 yards per carry.

Atlanta got WORKED by Jameis Winston. Doesn't necessarily mean the defense had a bad day, because that defense might still be bad. Matt Ryan had a nice opener with 334 yards and 2 TDs, but that running game is atrocious. Get working, Falcons.

Don't hang your heads, Cowboys. A tough opening day loss shouldn't mean too much. Dak Prescott looked decent for a rookie making his first NFL start. Ezekiel Elliott decided to run directly into tackles too much, which will be fixed in due time. Terrance Williams, sheesh man..that's a different story.

This offseason, Washington paid CB Josh Norman like a shutdown corner, with 50 million guaranteed. Last night, he did not cover WR Antonio Brown, who torched Washington's defense for 126 yards and 2 TDs. YOU LIKE THAT?

Good news, Saints fans! Drew Brees looks like Drew Brees of old - 423 passing yards and 4 touchdowns. Bad news, Saints fans! Looks like you have a group of high schoolers playing defense for you. It is going to be a long year, and there will be a lot of shootouts, if they can't get it together

Saved by the horrible Indianapolis defense! Detroit looked to be down and out after letting up a late touchdown. Not to worry, the Colts let the Lions right back into the game. Once Matt Prater got in range, it was all over.

They won the offseason, but clearly that did not roll over into the regular season. 160 total yards on offense..what a pathetic effort. The defense was not half bad, only allowing 13 points. This team could blow up quick if they continue to put up empty efforts early on.

The Ravens defense was very impressive on Sunday, containing the dynamic Tyrod Taylor and LeSean McCoy. Joe Flacco looks like he's got his near elite, but not completely elite, touch back after tearing his ACL last year. Also, Flacco to Mike Wallace could be a very dangerous combination this year.

It was a very discouraging opener for the Colts. The defense is one of the worst in the league. They just could not stop Matt Stafford and the Lions offense. I'm keeping them this high only because of Andrew Luck. He looked like the MVP candidate he's supposed to be. We'll have to keep an eye on Luck's back, because he'll be carrying his team on it all year long.

Jameis Winston has arrived. He was getting praise all off-season that he'll take a big jump in his game. Boy did he live up to it in week one. Even with his run game coming up small, Winston managed to throw four touchdowns and 281 yards. The defense looked pretty good, not great, but good. Matt Ryan was successful all day, but Tampa did shut down the Falcons running backs.

In a losing effort, the Jags earned respect. They proved that they are not the same old Jags after almost pulling off a win on the Packers. Jacksonville did a solid job limiting Rodgers to just under 200 passing yards, and Blake Bortles threw it all over Green Bay. The biggest issue they had was their run game. T.J. Yeldon was dreadful with just 39 yards on 21 carries. Chris Ivory is currently in the hospital, but if he can get back at some point that would be a big boost to the Jaguars offense.

The Giants pass attack is legit. Eli Manning had plenty of options to go to. Odell Beckham was fairly quiet, but hooked up with Eli for a bomb in the first half. Sterling Sheppard made a very impressive catch for his first career touchdown, and Victor Cruz is back. Back and looking like he used to. Before even mentioning Shane Vereen, Larry Donnell, and Will Tye, the Giants have one of the best pass games in the league. If the defense can just be average, this will be a good team.

Despite losing by a point to the Bengals, I'm moving the Jets up this week. The defense did a great job stopping Jeremy Hill and Gio Bernard, holding them to just 56 combined yards. It's was a good sign after watching Matt Forte in week one, gaining 153 yards from scrimmage. They should continue to utilize him as a featured weapon. If they can get through these first six games, watch out for the Jets.

Just like I expected. The Vikings look fine, even with Shaun Hill at quarterback. Sam Bradford will make his debut for the team soon. The only area Vikings fans should worry about, is Adrian Peterson's struggles in week one. Peterson had 31 yards on 19 carries. The defense however, gave Marcus Mariota trouble all day.

The Raiders are back. Derek Carr and the offense lit up the New Orleans defense, not that that's hard to do. The defense looked like it did last year, allowing Drew Brees to throw all over them all day. Love the decision by Jack Del Rio to go for the two point conversion in the final minutes, he gets a lot of props from me. The defense must play much better if they're going to be a serious contender.

The Chiefs got behind big to the Chargers, but surprise surprise, Alex Smith threw the Chiefs back into the game. It's a little worrisome that the KC defense allowed the San Diego offense to succeed in both running and passing the ball, considering that's supposed to be a strong asset to them. On the other side Spencer Ware proved that he can be a great fill in until Jamaal Charles returns.

As long as Ben Roethlisberger stays healthy the Steelers are a contender, and they showed that with a comfortable road win at Washington. Antonio Brown was unstoppable, and even so was DeAngelo Williams. Seemingly everything the Pittsburgh offense touches, turns to gold.

Brocky Balboa came out of his Texans debut with a W. Oisweiler was good, Lamar Miller was better. Miller touched the ball on 56% of the Texans plays. Second was DeAndre Hopkins with 5%. Miller ended with 117 total yards and made everyone see why Houston went out and got him in the off-season. Will Fuller was also a beast. If the offense looks like this all year with that defense, look out AFC.

I couldn't drop the Panthers down too too far. The state of the run game is worrysome for me. Jonathan Stewart looked like the career of injuries is catching up to him. The defense couldn't stop C.J. Anderson all game, and didn't put enough pressure on Trevor Siemian. Let's hope that Cam Newton takes less shots to the head going forward.

I was one of the few that thought the Broncos would beat the Panthers at home with Trevor Siemian at quarterback. See everyone? The difference between their quarterback this year and last year is nothing. C.J. Anderson looked great. He looks much faster than last year, and seems to be making quicker cuts. The defense didn't seem to miss Malik Jackson, as the d-line still pushed Cam Newton back into the pocket where Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware could get to him.

The offense and defense of Seattle were polar opposites. The defense made Miami's offense look like a bunch of 3rd graders, and their offense in it's own right looked like a bunch of 4th graders. The offensive line looked over-matched from the get go, and it got Russell Wilson injured. Wilson has an ankle sprain, although it is not believed to be serious. If it becomes serious, the Seahawks will quickly fall outside the top ten.

The Packers defense looked average against the Jaguars. They held the Jags to just 48 yards on the ground, but Blake Bortles threw for over 300 yards. Aaron Rodgers only threw for 199 yards, but he scored two crucial touchdowns. Shreddy Lacy looked to be back to form as well. The Packers move up to fourth by default, as a lot of top ten teams looked bad in their first games.

Despite losing to New England at home, I'm still believe the Cards are the best team in the NFC. David Johnson looked like a perennial superstar, and Carson Palmer looks like he's past the disaster at last years NFC championship. Maybe they'll see Belicheck again in the Super Bowl.

The Bengals beat the New York Jets on the road, and it was because of their quarterback. Andy Dalton was 23 for 30 with 366 yards, and A.J. Green had 12 catches for 180 yards and a touchdown. If this offense rolls like it did against a strong Jets defense, this could finally be the year for Cincy.

No Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Jonathan Cooper, Nate Solder, or Rob Ninkovich? No problem. The zen master Bill Belicheck demised a great gameplan for his team to beat the Arizona Cardinals, who I had ranked 1st last week. This was the hardest game, and the only road game the Pats played while Brady is suspended, the fact that they won it adding those injuries is supremely impressive.
