jacksonvilleGus Bradley watch continues. Cool part from this game - Blake Bortles has now thrown more pick-sixes (11) than career wins (10).

new-jetsThe Jets stunk the joint up on Monday night. Ryan Fitzpatrick was throwing ducks so bad that he has now lost his job to Bryce Petty. Yuck.

chicagoSomeone had to win in the Toilet Bowl between the Bears and 49ers. It just so happened that Chicago could move forward while possessing the football. Kudos.

carolinaThe only thing that hurts worse than an embarrassing loss is an embarrassing loss in primetime. Seattle's defense shut down anything positive Carolina attempted to do. In the process, the Panthers one-dimensional offense was turned inside out. Also, good job Derek Anderson.

los-angelesLos Angeles put out another punchless performance this weekend but good news Rams fans! Jeff Fisher signed another contract extension! Proceed to your nearest grocery store and purchase bleach, the purge is here.

cincinnatiCincinnati laid the smackdown on Philadelphia as Andy Dalton returned to the win column with a vengeance. 332 passing yards from the scary ginger. Marvin Lewis should still be fired imho.

san-diegoSan Diego ran into a buzzsaw this weekend at home. Not many teams in the league hotter than Tampa. The Chargers did everything they could but fell short.

philadelphiaPhiladelphia, what are you doing? You won't win many games with Carson Wentz throwing the ball 60 times. Good lord, his shoulder is going to fall off! Smh.

indianapolisIndianapolis continues to take on water but they somehow remain in the playoff race. Andrew Luck looked good against a "NFL defense" on Monday.

new-orleansNew Orleans showed us why they are not a playoff team this week. Once Detroit started to shut down New Orleans, they immediately became one dimensional. Drew Brees threw for 326 yards but no TDs and was mildly ineffective.

Minnesota gave it the old college on Thursday night against Dallas, unfortunately that was not enough.

buffaloBuffalo had Oakland and the AFC Wild Card right where they wanted it, and then Buffalo fell back to Earth in ugly fashion. Buffalo's defense allowed 29 unanswered points. *vomits*

Wow, man.

green-bayGreen Bay has begun their resurgence. Aaron Rodgers once told everyone to relax and he's doing it again, but with his performance. The Packers took down the division-leading Texans and continue to set themselves up for a run at one of the NFC's Wild Card spots.

washingtonWashington could have taken a big step forward toward a playoff berth playing the seemingly beatable Arizona Cardinals. Instead, Washington spit the bit and now see themselves out of the Wild Card picture. My, how fast the turntables can turn.

tampa-bayI see you, Tampa Bay. Offense is clicking, defense is dominating and now the Buccaneers are in a playoff spot in December (!!!). Tampa is one of the hottest teams in football and doesn't appear to be stopping any time soon.

baltimoreBaltimore's season has been the teeter totter of the NFL. When you think they're good, they're bad. When they're obviously terrible, they win. Baltimore CRUSHED Miami last weekend and keeps pace in the AFC North.

miamiWhat the hell happened, Miami? After a long win streak, the Dolphins came out absolutely flat. Now Miami is out of a playoff spot. Good work!

houstonHouston was leading the AFC South with some cushion. Now, they're tied with Indianapolis and Tennessee for the division. You really screwed this up, Houston.

pittsburghThe Steelers are clicking on all cylinders, it seems. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 289 yds. and 2 TDs, while LeVeon Bell ran for 118 yds. Pittsburgh's defense held the Giants to 14 points as well. Geez, things are looking good for Pittsburgh in the AFC North.

detroitDetroit keeps on moving up. The Lions had another impressive victory where their defense smothered an opponent to the point of defeat. Matt Stafford threw for 341 yds. and 2 TDs in an impressive performance. This team might just have something here.

atlantaAtlanta is again a hard luck loser. They score the apparent go-ahead touchdown and then throw a pick-2 on the return. That is how the Falcons lost.

new-giantsNew York suffered their first stumble in a handful of weeks. The Giants were unable to stop the Steelers offense at all on Sunday. New York is still a talented team, but they might be proving to be more vulnerable than previously thought,

seattleSeattle won but suffered a big loss in the secondary with the season-ending broken leg suffered by Earl Thomas. Russell Wilson looks to have returned to playoff form.

It's December, that's right!

denverSunday was by no means an offensive display for the Broncos but their defense won them another one for sure. 2 field goals and an interception returned for a touchdown - only one offensive touchdown for Denver on Sunday. It works now, might not work in January though.

oakland29 unanswered points show us two things - the Raiders can get punked and punk at the same time. This team has the gusto to make a deep run this offseason. Thursday night vs. Kansas City should be a slobberknocker.
