detroit
9-7
NFC #6 Seed - Detroit is likely just happy to be here. After losing the final 3 games and the division crown, the Lions are staring down the barrel of an early playoff exit.
11
houston
9-7
AFC #4 Seed - Houston lucks out by facing Connor Cook this weekend, but the Texans will be putting Brock Osweiler back out under center. Yuck.
10
miami
10-6
AFC #6 Seed - Miami is facing the same situation as Detroit - just happy to be here. The Dolphins get to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend in Pittsburgh - good luck.
9
oakland
12-4
AFC #5 Seed - Oakland was set to be a top AFC team, two weeks later and they're about to start Connor Cook in their first playoff game since 2002. Sheesh.
8
atlanta
11-5
NFC #2 Seed - Atlanta is a good football team, we think. They haven't done much to inspire confidence recently but maybe this is the year they change that.
7
seattle
10-5-1
NFC #3 Seed - Seattle had an absolutely bizarre season but still managed to reel in the 3 seed. Always dangerous until they're eliminated, a run for this team can't be ruled out.
6
pittsburgh
11-5
AFC #3 Seed - Pittsburgh has a tough road to the Super Bowl, but it can't be ruled out with this team. Offensively, they are a well oiled machine. If they can get rolling early, look out.
5
new-giants
11-5
NFC #5 Seed - New York has arguably the scariest defense in the playoffs. We've seen how the Giants have won their last two Super Bowl titles - a strong defense. If they can get past Green Bay, we might be looking at a contender here.
4
green-bay
10-6
NFC #4 Seed - Heading into the postseason as the hottest team in the NFC, Green Bay has a tough matchup but home-field advantage will definitely be just that this weekend.
3
dallas
13-3
NFC #1 Seed - Dallas is headed to the postseason as the best team in the NFC - what a world to live in. Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott will continue to roll, as Dallas looks to capture their first championship in decades.
2
kansas-city
12-4
AFC #2 Seed - Kansas City was already a scary team, but now that they're able to host playoff games..things just got next level serious. Good luck teams who have to play the Chiefs.
1
new-england
14-2
AFC #1 seed - Easily the best all-around team in the NFL right now, New England looks like they are a lock for at least the AFC Championship Game.
